MHP applications are interactive applications allowing the user to access information and entertainment sevices during the regular TV-viewing, turning a simple TV set in an interactive platform.

A TV broadcast airing these applications would surely enlarge its catchment area: TV is the most common and widespread mass-medium so that using it to deploy such services is the best way to assure their valuable spreading.
