Mirto MHP is a software stack that implements the Multimedia Home Platform standard, mode DVB-J. The MHP applications are written in Java language, therefore they are independent from underlying software layers and hardware platforms. Mirto MHP runs the MHP applications by using system resources and providing the same behaviour on several systems.

Mirto MHP is available in two versions: 1.0.3 for standard definition TV (SD-TV) and 1.1.3 for high definition TV (HD­-TV) optionally linked to a service provider by an IP return-path channel.

Mirto MHP has been validated both using the test suites provided by MHP organization and with on-field tests by checking the MHP applications conveyed by Italian national broadcasters.
