The TV schedule represents the strong point of a TV broadcaster.

Besides having a rich and varied schedule, it is also very important to show it in a prompt and fresh way. The EPG (Electronic Program Guide) is now a common tool by means of which the user choose what to watch on TV.

Lookup.tv provides a full system for the automatic generation of the EIT (Event Information Table) which fills and keeps up-to-date the native EPG database on the STB.
The automatic generation of the EITs starts by taking the info from a database (a textfile, or an .xml file), then data are encapsulated in a Transport Stream which is finally transferred to the mux.
In addition to the TV schedule, available on the EPG, the user will be also able to display many other details of specific TV programs, including the program name, start time, duration, genre and possibly age rating of the program currently aired and of the following one.
In this way, the viewer will have a clear and complete cognition of the variety of the offer given by the tuned channel.

The application is compliant with the "ETSI EN 300 468" standard and it's fully compatible with any DTT STB supporting the EPG.
